Three cheers for the whale. Unfortunately I have to side with the comment that humans are the source of the problem. Researchers are only now discovering why these creatures beach themselves, and, although not the only reason, we as a race have contributed greatly.
not a bad theory. delphinoids (the superfamily that these dolphins belong to) use echolocation to both communicate and navigate, so seafaring vessels (and other human marine activities) could easily disorientate them leading to the beaching.
