upon reading the text, it is assumed tht the writer's motive was to promote one candidate and degrade all others. but i can assure u tht the candidate u r backing is very unlikely to win this time.
writer has made a very good point, you dont need to provide a laptop to buy votes, you dont have need to invest in a building, you dont need to provide money for medecine just to obtain votes. good piece of write up. keep it up
If the writer is promoting a candidate as suggested by first anon, then i think by all means He is the eligible candidate. Im not sure if there is a candidate out there as mentioned in this article, but if there is one, please take the chance as it might not come our way again.
Having read the article, i see that the writer is unable to maintain consistency. In the 5th parag, it is pointed out how academic excellence is necessary for a good MP. In the following paragraph, I am amused to read how the writer has chosen Reeko Moosa as the exemplary MP, who according to the writer is an outstanding MP, "who had great hand, shaping and modernizing the constitution"
So, Im guessing, the writer, is very confused about what really makes a good MP after all.
