New Cabinet Announced

The new cabinet of MDP led coalition was announced today at the news briefing in 'Dharubaaruge 25' by the spokes person for the president elect Mr.Mohamed Nasheed.
The following are the ministries and name of the ministers selected by MDP coalition government respectively.
Minister of Home Affairs: Qasim Ibrahim
Minister of Finance and Treasury: Ali Hashim
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Dr. Ahmed Shaheed
Minister of Health and Family: Dr. Aminath Jameel
Minister of Defence and National Security: Amin Faisal
Minister of Education: Dr. Mustafa Lutfi
Attorney-General: Diyana Saeed
Minister of Economic Development: Mohamed Rasheed
Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture: Dr. Ahmed Ali Sawad
Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports: Hassan Latheef

  1. Isnt it interesting this cabinet has 35% Hulhudhoo roots, Hail to Hulhudhuans, they are smart.Dhiyana, Majeed, Sawad, Mustafa, Didi all are Hulhudhuans.

  2. We are really proud of Hulhudhoo people but at this time of national unity we dont think of talking about percentages...dheee. it wont be easy for some people to digest...cheers hulhumeedhoo
